Prayer and fasting is a personal and intimate growth process that requires devout labor. Accepting Christ as Lord is often chosen as a fire escape instead of a life's journey. Sometimes people accept Christ to belong to a group of people for personal support. Others become a Christian to maintain family tradition. What was your motivation? If you are not being moved to seek the deeper things of God, as a deer pants for fresh water (Psalms 42:1"As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God".), you may need to take inventory of your spiritual position and condition. The Holy Spirit dwelling naturally results in a hunger and thirst for spiritual growth!
What Is Our Motivation?
Blessings Children of the Most High! To God be all the Glory, for He alone is worthy of all the fruits of our lips! Praise God siblings! Jesus is the standard that we must measure ourselves with! We must follow Him in doing the Will of our Father, Amen! As a parent, we automatically are concerned for our children and will assist them in any way possible as long as it's in the will of the Father. We must never go beyond or above (compromise) the word of the Lord! With that being said, the fruit of our wombs (men's loins) are motivation to be that safe haven and sounding board for our children. Well let me ask you this, as Siblings in Christ, what motivates you to walk the straight and narrow, to lead someone to the Cross, to tell them of the goodness of the Lord?
